Dr. Camille Richie is a Marco Island native and a Lely High School graduate c/o 2012. She is certified in canine rehabilitation and acupuncture through Chi University in Reddick, Florida, and aquatic animal medicine through the World Aquatic Veterinary Medicine Association (WAVMA). Dr. Richie received her veterinary degree from St. George’s University on the beautiful Caribbean island of Grenada and completed her clinical rotational year at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Richie spent about two years in small animal and exotic pet general practice and then spent a year at a speciality referral center in Jacksonville, Florida solely doing rehabilitation and integrative medicine.

Dr. Richie’s professional interests include Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), post-operative rehabilitative care, hydrotherapy, and marine animal rehabilitation. Her goal is to use Western-style diagnostics and therapeutics with an Eastern-style mindset to encourage the body to heal itself in an integrative approach.

Outside of work, Dr. Richie practices Chinese Southern-style Wuzuquan, 5 Ancestors Fist Kung Fu. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring outdoors, and attending concerts with her boyfriend. They have two dogs— a black German Shepherd named Calusa, a Pomeranian named Parmesan— and two cats, Mendel and Darwin, together.
